Viet Bigbus Launches the “Saigon – Tan Dinh” Double-Decker Bus Route – A Heritage Journey Through the Heart of the City
On the morning of November 4, 2025, Viet Bigbus officially launched the open-top double-decker bus route “Saigon – Tan Dinh” under the theme “Saigon Cultural Heritage,” marking a new milestone in Saigon tourism by combining public transportation with cultural experiences.
This is the first Saigon tourist bus route designed with a combination of transportation and exploration, offering both residents and visitors a completely new perspective on a city with more than 300 years of history.

A Journey Through Saigon’s Cultural Landmarks

From the open-top upper deck, passengers can experience Saigon through every street corner, tree-lined avenue, and rhythm of daily life. More than just a bus ride, this journey invites travelers to observe, listen, and develop a deeper appreciation for the city — a Saigon that is both modern and rich in traditional cultural values.
Modern Experience – Preserving Vietnamese Identity
Viet Bigbus aims to deliver modern urban tourism services while preserving strong Vietnamese cultural identity.
The buses are equipped with multilingual automatic audio guides, free Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, and a professional bilingual tour guide team.
Each trip is carefully prepared so that visitors not only enjoy sightseeing, but also gain a better understanding of the history, architecture, and unique cultural characteristics of Saigon – Ho Chi Minh City.

Grand Opening Promotion – Free Experience Opportunity
To celebrate the grand opening, Viet Bigbus is offering three days of free rides from November 11 to November 13, 2025.
After the promotional period, the route will operate daily from 8:30 AM to 10:30 PM, with an expected ticket price of VND 145,000 per trip — an affordable rate for both local residents and international tourists.
The departure point is conveniently located in the city center, making it easy for passengers to connect with other inner-city tourism routes.

Viet Bigbus Vision – Connecting Culture, Promoting the City’s Image
According to Ms. Nguyen Thu Hoa, Director of Viet Bigbus, the launch of the “Saigon – Tan Dinh” double-decker bus route is not merely a tourism product, but also part of a strategy to modernize urban travel experiences while promoting civilized, safe, and friendly tourism.
“We hope every trip will not only take passengers through the city’s streets, but also help them feel the breath, rhythm, and heritage of Saigon — where the past and present blend together,” Ms. Hoa shared.
Viet Bigbus believes that by combining technology, quality service, and a spirit of cultural appreciation, Saigon’s double-decker tourist buses will become a distinctive highlight in the city’s tourism development journey.
Viet Bigbus – Where Transportation Becomes a Cultural Experience
Amid the fast pace of urban life, Viet Bigbus hopes to bring passengers moments of relaxation and pride as they rediscover Saigon from a higher, quieter, and more intimate perspective.
It is an opportunity for city residents to “travel within their hometown,” and for visitors from afar to experience a dynamic Saigon that still retains its warmth and humanity.
